Emergency First Aid at Work

Who should attend:
Anyone over the age of 16 who may need first aid skills.

Emergency First Aid training is the first step towards saving a life and may prove useful for any member of the general public. This first aid course also enables a company to comply with Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981 by having the appropriate number of First Aiders in the workplace.

How long is this Emergency First Aid at Work course:
Our 1 day Emergency First Aid course in London runs for approximately 6 and a half hours. We like to start sharply at 8.15 am. Please try your best not to be late. Please arrive 15 min early to grab a cup of tea and a biscuit before we get started.

• Burns and Scalds
• Regulations
• First Aid Kits
• Recording and Reporting

Assessment & Certification:
Certification is dependent on successful continuous assessment of the student, there is no final exam. Those students who complete the course and are deemed to have reached the required standard are issued with a certificate that is valid for three years. Under the current guidelines it is strongly recommended that first aid trained staff attend a half-day update every twelve months.


CANCELLATION POLICY
Where a firm booking is subsequently cancelled, The Company reserves the right to apply the following charges: if the cancellation is made up to 7 days before the course start date, 50% of the fee; 3 days or less before the course start date, the full fee. If any cancellations are made when you purchased through our website we have to pass on the cancellation fee of £15.00 per course. Cancellations will only be accepted in writing. The date that the Company receives the cancellation will be regarded as the date the cancellation has been made and appropriate charges will apply. However, substitutions may be made at any time prior to the course start date.

Skyward Training Ltd, reserves the right to cancel a training course at any time due to unforseen circumstances. Should a course be cancelled, alternative dates will be offered or a full refund given.
