No Experience Required:
The course is open to all, there is no previous experience needed.
Course Content Includes:
- combustion principles
- how fire and toxic fumes spread
- introduction to fire legislation
- fire risk assessment
- emergency plan
Fire Action:
- fire exit and fire safety signage
- role of a fire marshal in the event of a fire alarm
- moving through smoke-filled areas
- safely conducting an area/floor check
- assembly points and roll calls.
Use of fire-fighting equipment:
- fire extinguishers*
- fire blanket.
Delegates will receive advice and training, covering the full roles and responsibilities of a designated Fire marshal in the workplace.
They will also learn basic fire safety procedures in the workplace and how to ensure your organisation is compliant with the law.
It is a legal requirement to ensure you have an adequate number of staff trained to handle the safe and successful evacuation in the case of a fire at your place of work.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Where a firm booking is subsequently cancelled, The Company reserves the right to apply the following charges: if the cancellation is made up to 7 days before the course start date, 50% of the fee; 3 days or less before the course start date, the full fee. If any cancellations are made when you purchased through our website we have to pass on the cancellation fee of £15.00 per course. Cancellations will only be accepted in writing. The date that the Company receives the cancellation will be regarded as the date the cancellation has been made and appropriate charges will apply. However, substitutions may be made at any time prior to the course start date.
Skyward Training Ltd, reserves the right to cancel a training course at any time due to unforseen circumstances. Should a course be cancelled, alternative dates will be offered or a full refund given.
